An Nuo is a pioneer of Contemporary Expressionism in the performing arts and innovator of new art forms. She is a founder of “Spiritual Dance”; a dance form which integrates the principles of ballet, modern dance, Tai Chi, folk dance, and dance therapy. This innovative art form is dedicated to connect all the life in pursuit of a dialogue between the body and mind, communion between the performer and audience, and creates an intensive interaction between acting and the environment. An Nuo bases dance as her roots which extends to cultivating and growing new art branches through theatre, dance musicals, and film.
As an original and independent artist, An Nuo explores and discovers the world from her aesthetically and continuously experimental works with unstoppable and independent thinking. Furiously curious and passionate about the world, she has been inspired by nature, all living beings, and forms of art. In 2016, as the author of the thesis “the New Dance Form: Spiritual Dance”, she continues to reinforce diversity and creativity within her art, which has inspired audiences, artists, and society. Her art is imbued with a global perspective around the world.
